On the 30th June 2017, ATLANTIS INTERNATIONAL SERVICES joined ERGET GROUP.
Established more than 50 years ago, ATLANTIS INTERNATIONAL SERVICES, is one of the main international players of expertise/maritime transport, claims’ prevention and management of complex claims, recovery claims, general average and salvage. With a team of 16 people in Belgium, based in Antwerp and Brussels, ATLANTIS INTERNATIONAL SERVICES realizes more than 4 million euro turnover, of which 60% international with the support of its own branch offices and its network on the five continents.
ERGET GROUP, established 30 years ago, is a specialist in loss expertise on behalf of insurance companies. With 135 people, out of which 95 are multidisciplinary experts and surveyors, ERGET GROUP has developed around 12 high value-added niches and specialties (Construction, Aerospace, Energy, Industry, Security, Marine, Cargo, Product and Professional Civil Liability, Financial Lines, Bodily Injury, IT/Cyber and Consumer Goods). Since 2006, ERGET GROUP has developed a strong international presence with its own teams in Asia (China, Hong Kong), South-America (Brazil/Guyana) and French Overseas. It is also present in 30 countries in Africa, an organization completed by many local agents. ERGET GROUP works in 85 countries.
The merger with ATLANTIS INTERNATIONAL SERVICES is in line with this development strategy, niche markets and internationally oriented. It allows the group to strengthen its presence on the market of corporate risk in Western Europe, with a leadership on the African market and a strong momentum of growth in emerging markets. The combination of the two groups will lead to the creation of a 22 million euro turnover organization, with nearly 35% of its activity on the international market and an intervention capacity in more than 115 countries.
The support of ERGET GROUP will highly benefit to ATLANTIS INTERNATIONAL SERVICES’s clients by widening and securing its international presence, and enlarging the range of services provided to them thanks to ERGET GROUP’s capability and specialties.
In that perspective and given ATLANTIS INTERNATIONAL SERVICES know-how and specific characteristics, the structure remains unchanged while it is being integrated into ERGET GROUP. The two prominent managers Long Trang and Michel Serruys, will continue to serve their clients and accompany this project in the following years with a view to give a new start to the development of the combined group.
